Arrival to KAUST

I am finally in Saudi Arabia to pursue a Master’s degree in Computer Science at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). My research is focused on Communication-Efficient Distributed Optimization for Machine Learning. I am working at Visual Computing Center under the supervision of Professor Peter Richtárik.

Unfortunately, my arrival was delayed for almost a month due to the visa obtaining procedure.
